1. Who we are and what this covers

This is the privacy policy of Idle Brick Empire, a mobile game for iOS and Android, and of this website (brick-empire.miguelpuig.com).

The game is developed and published by Miguel Puig, based in the United Kingdom, who is responsible for the data described here ("we", "us"). Contact: info@miguelpuig.com.

2. What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive or share personal data through the game. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and it works without an internet connection.

3. What we do not collect

  • No name, email address or account: there is no sign-up.
  • No payment details: the game has no purchases.
  • No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone: the game does not ask for them.
  • No advertising identifier: the game has no ads and no ad software.
  • No analytics about how you play: we do not see your island, your progress or how long you play.

4. What the game saves on your device

To remember your island, the game keeps one save file in its own storage on your device. It holds:

  • Your progress: sand, workers, island size, upgrades and what you have discovered.
  • Your settings: language, sound, music and vibration.
  • The time you last played, to work out what your workers dug while you were away.
  • A random number that identifies the save file and the version of the game that wrote it. It is not linked to you or to your device, and it is not sent anywhere.

This file stays on your device. We never receive it.

5. The game engine

The game is built with the Unity engine. Unity's analytics, advertising, purchase and cloud services are switched off in this game.

When your device is online, the engine itself may send Unity Technologies anonymous technical details about the device, such as its model and operating system version. We do not receive that information. Unity describes it in its privacy policy.

6. Apple and Google

You get the game through the App Store, TestFlight or Google Play. Apple and Google handle downloads and may collect diagnostics, such as crash reports, under their own privacy policies (Apple, Google) and the choices you made on your device. We can see those reports in aggregate, without your name.

If you send feedback through TestFlight or Google Play, Apple or Google pass us what you wrote, and may include your email address and device details so that we can reply.

7. This website

This website has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no forms, and it loads nothing from other companies.

It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and keep them secure, as every web host does. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

8. When you write to us

If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use them only to answer you and to fix the problem you describe. We keep the message for as long as that takes, and we delete it when you ask.

9. How we use and share information

We do not sell, rent or share personal data. We do not use it for advertising or to build profiles. The only personal data we ever handle is an email you choose to send us.

10. Keeping and deleting data

The save file stays on your device until you delete it: uninstall the game, or clear its data in your phone settings. There is nothing for us to delete, because we hold nothing.

To have an email you sent us deleted, write to info@miguelpuig.com.

11. Security

The game sends us nothing, so there is no player data on our side to protect. The save file is kept in the storage your device reserves for the game. This website is served only over HTTPS.

12. Children

The game does not collect personal data from anyone, children included. It has no chat, no content made by other players, no ads and no purchases.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the age that applies where you live. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.

13. Where data is processed

The game keeps its data on your device, wherever you are. This website is delivered from Cloudflare's network, which has servers in many countries. Emails you send us are handled by our email provider and read in the United Kingdom.

14. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA), you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data someone holds about you, and you can complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal information. We hold none through the game; if you have emailed us, write to info@miguelpuig.com and we will act on your request.

15. Changes to this policy

The game is still being built. Features planned for later, such as cloud saves, purchases or ads, would change what this policy says. We will update this page, with a new date at the top, before any version that changes how data is handled reaches you.
